Molly Bowler has been coming up with the exact right thing for clients to say – and write – for more than 35 years.
She is an accomplished public relations strategist and practitioner, whose expansive career includes stints in LA as a magazine editor and VP of public affairs for a large bank, as well as head of client services at JohnstonWells when it was Denver’s largest PR firm. (Fun fact: JW is where Molly met Kerry Shelanski – she was Kerry’s boss. The two have been working closely together ever since.)
A past president of the Colorado Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America, Molly has won numerous high-profile communications awards. These include a Silver Anvil, the nation’s top public relations honor, for her work managing Odwalla’s E.Coli crisis in the 90s. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Journalism at the University of Missouri.
Molly lives in Missoula with her husband Bruce, a biochemistry professor at the University of Montana, and their Giant Schnoodle, Ursula. Of course, Molly is an avid reader (the best writers usually are). She’s also a fantastic cook and a tireless, though not uncomplaining, volunteer at Holy Spirit Episcopal Church.
